The Economy and Progressive Remedies

With U.S. Reps. Barbara Lee and Lynn Woolsey, the Co-Chairs of the Congressional Progressive Caucus; and U.S. Rep. Barney Frank, the Chairman of the House Committee on Financial Services;
Robert Kuttner, author of The Squandering of America and co-founder and co-editor of The American Prospect; and Roger Hickey, co-director, Campaign for America's Future

Rep. Frank said the recent poor jobs report "should be a wake-up call that a public policy response is needed to help the economy recover more quickly and to help average Americans deal with any downturn."

Robert Kuttner's latest book offers a new model of managed capitalism that can deliver security and opportunity, and rekindle democracy as a check on concentrated wealth.
