DFA Endorses Donna Edwards

From a DFA Emailing: Democracy for America doesn't shy away from tough fights. Bush Democrats think that the "D" next to their name keeps them safe, but you know better.

DFMC Discusses Immigration Policy

DFMC members and others discussed Immigration Policy with special guests Maryland Secretary of Labor Tom Perez; Don Mooers, Immigration Attorney; Guled Kassim, former candidate for delegate D19; and Beth Wong, a progressive activist involved with several issues including immigrants' interests. The event, sponsored by DFMC, took place at the Executive Office Building in Rockville Thursday October 25th. DFMC Steering Committee member Sharon Dooley was the primary organizer for the event. DFMC will continue working for progressive immigration policies locally, in Maryland and nationally.
